Our annual banquet will be held this Saturday May 4 at the American Legion in Hancock.  Happy Hour starts at 5:00 pm and Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm.  Live entertainment follows and will play until 11:30 pm.

The Copper Country Oldtimers are planning to award a $500 college scholarship to a local hockey player.  Eligibility and application details will be posted on this website as they become available.

Congratulations to The Monte Carlo for winning the Playoff Championship Game over Bear Belly Bar & Grill 4-3 in overtime.  M&M Powersports won the Consolation Game over Sayen’s Auto Sales.  Baraga Telephone won the Monticello’s Cup Game over Re/Max Douglass.

The regular season and round-robin playoffs have concluded and the match-ups for Championship Sunday are as follows:

Consolation Game @ 10:15  Sayen’s Auto Sales vs. M&M Powersports

With the generous support of River Valley Bank, the Copper Country Oldtimers sponsored four teams in the USA Hockey Pond Hockey National Championships last weekend in Eagle River, Wisconsin.  Each team (Huskies 30+, Sharks 40+, Pioneers 50+, and Monte Carlo 60+) won their respective age group.  Great job boys! Way to bring home the hardware.
